Akkodis is seeking a Senior UX/SAS Product Designer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. You will lead the design of intuitive SAS-based platforms and analytics workflows while ensuring model governance and deployment best practices.
Rate Range: $56/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior UX/SAS Product Designer job responsibilities include:
Design and deliver intuitive user experiences for SAS-based platforms, ensuring alignment with analytics workflows and execution models.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate complex SAS functionalities into user-friendly interfaces.
Develop and maintain design systems and standards tailored for SAS environments, including governance and deployment workflows.
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and optimize product performance.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for SAS products such as Viya, Studio, Model Manager, and Visual Analytics.
Ensure compliance with accessibility and scalability best practices while supporting iterative improvements based on user feedback.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 7+ years in UX/Product Design, with proven experience in SAS-based platforms.
Must have prior experience working at a Big Five Hi-Tech company.
Direct experience designing SAS products or SAS-based platforms (e.g., Viya, Studio, Model Manager, Visual Analytics).
