Job Description

Elim Wellspring , a Cassia community, is hiring Culinary Assistants  to join our team in Princeton, MN . This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.  No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success. 

As a  Culinary Assistant at  Elim Wellspring, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members’ meals. Meal times and good food will always be a very important part of everyone's lives! Our Dietary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike. Come and work in a beautiful and rewarding setting while helping seniors enjoy their dining experience. 

Position Type:  On-Call working varied hours including weekends and holidays

Shifts Available:
Days 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Wage Range: $16 - $19 / hour depending on experience

Culinary Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist with transporting/ transferring residents in wheelchairs (training will be provided).
• Complete additional tasks as needed.

Culinary Assistant Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or healthcare experience preferred but not required! We will train!
• Ability to stand for length of shift and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be willing to work independently and be able to multitask.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.
