Summary
The Buena Vista Gaming Commission (“BVGC”) is an independent governmental gaming regulatory agency for the Buena Vista Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians (“Tribe”). The BVGC serves as the primary regulator of all gaming activity occurring within the Tribe’s land and ensures all gaming operations comply with the Tribe’s Gaming Ordinance (“Ordinance”), State Gaming Compact (“Compact”), the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (“IGRA”), and all applicable tribal, state, federal laws, regulations, and internal controls.
The Regulatory Compliance & Investigation Agent is responsible for ensuring that all gaming operations under the jurisdiction of the Buena Vista Gaming Commission (“BVGC”) comply with applicable tribal, federal, and state gaming laws and Commission regulations. This position performs compliance reviews, regulatory investigations, and technical inspections of gaming systems to protect the integrity, security, and fairness of gaming operations.

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to work in a moderately noisy environment. The employee may be required to work in an environment containing secondhand smoke. This position requires the ability to occasionally work non-conventional hours.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is also occasionally required to stand; walk more than half a mile; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear; and taste and smell. The employee must also occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.
