We’re looking for a warm, detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our team. This role is guest-facing and fast-paced, perfect for someone who loves hospitality, French pastries, and working as part of a tight-knit team.
Job ResponsibilitiesClock in on time and be shift-ready as scheduled
Greet every guest warmly and maintain a professional, welcoming presence
Keep the pastry case fully stocked with daily offerings
Accurately ring in orders and manage cash handling with precision
Package guest orders with consistency and attention to detail
Willingly garnish pastries as requested and support a high level of hospitality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front of House, including proper labeling and storage
Complete Front of House opening and closing checklists
Wash dishes throughout the day and keep the dish station clean
Follow all health and safety regulations
Communicate confidently with guests about offerings, allergens, and ingredients
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Manage time, breaks, and clocking in/out accurately and honestly
Assist the kitchen with small projects as needed (scaling ingredients, zesting fruit, prep tasks, etc.)
Perform additional duties as assigned to support a cohesive team
1 year of relevant experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive attitude
Attention to detail and strong time-management skills
Willingness and desire to learn and grow
Knowledge of food safety, allergens, and general food handling
Passion for French pastries
Ability to multitask and problem-solve
Comfortable working in an environment with food allergens (including nuts)
Ability to follow instructions clearly and consistently
